New week…new day…new opportunities
5 00 Vitamin injections and the day has not dawned yet, but I can see this through for 5 days
7 10 Morning devotion leads us into the day…..hope for me…I can accept that..
7 45 Staff shares prayer requests….. laughter & celebration …..and then the serious matters ….
Fedex feeds empty stomachs….and sister waits for me to exit the dining room ready with my meds….I suppose I need it
8 45 Equipped with white files, patients and therapists meet for the group therapy journey of the day……how special is this to share & connect and to be understood!!
10 30 Therapy can make you thirsty and hungry…..tea time….a snack and something to drink strengthens the physique
11 15 Not too much time to waste…..life skills seems to be the answer to many questions…… and so does the sharing of pastoral experts
12 30 Thank goodness for lunch time…..
13 15 Medical lecture……all the information…..can’t believe what I have been exposing my one and only body to…
Individual counseling…..my therapist and I explore and found the way through my life….
15 00 Motivational talk……the road to the recovery by those that is living proof that it can be done….wow!!! If they can do it, I can also do it
Recreation…..the choices…..lovely inviting greens to walk…how soothing; a soccer field; a volleyball ground; cricket; badminton; mini gym; lots of indoor games and the first price is that I don’t have to do this alone
17 00 Dinner time….the day has been full and my stomach empty…again….could it perhaps be sisters vitamins?
18 00 My loved ones time….can’t wait to see them, hold them & share or in case of no visitors……the Celebrate recovery group is for sure not to be missed….a hands on session by someone skilled in the recovery tricks
20 00 Me time….my file…preparation for tomorrow….connecting with my roommates and others….how special how different and the same we are….
22 00 I am tired….my bed is winking…..mission accomplished…. I have learn a lot, looking forward to the journey that still lies ahead
All goes quiet…..each one of us returning to our inside self
The nurse & security make sure that all is well during the course of the night……for us to be safe and sound
